Golden Agri-Resources Ltd ("GAR") is the world's second largest palm oil plantation company with a total planted area of 484,221 hectares (including smallholders) as at 30 September 2015, located in Indonesia. It has integrated operations focused on the production of palm-based edible oil and fat.

Flambo International Ltd, an investment company, is GAR's largest shareholder, with a 50.35% stake. GAR has several subsidiaries, including PT SMART Tbk wich is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since 1992. 

GAR is focused on sustainable palm oil production. In Indonesia, its primary activities include cultivating and harvesting of oil palm trees; processing of fresh fruit bunch into crude palm oil ("CPO") and palm kernel; merchandising and refining CPO into value-added products such as cooking oil, margarine and shortening. It also has operations in China and India including a deep-sea port, oilseeds crushing plants, production capabilities for refined edible oil products as well as other food products such as noodles.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Secretarial Support (60%)

  • Provide secretarial / administration support to immediate supervisor and team members
  • Manage calendars for immediate supervisor
  • Set-up meetings, appointments and video/tel-conferences
  • Assist in travel arrangements 
  • Process travel expenses claims, local expense claims, payment requests and any others
  • Assist with presentation materials and meeting minutes
  • Assist in organising training and on-board materials
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

2. Marketing Communications Coordination (40%)

  • Provide marketing communication admin support to the sales and marketing team 
  • Assist in designing and producing product brochures/catalogues/flyers
  • Assist in organising tradeshows and trade conferences, social media and advertising

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum a Bachelor degree in Business or any relevant disciplines
  • Prior marketing working experience is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant secretarial working experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible to lead and execute IT audit including ITGC (IT General Controls) and ITAC (IT Application Controls) reviews as within the Group.
  • To lead and conduct special review projects as requested by the Management.
  • Assist in the execution of IA Strategies and general planning such as annual risk management, audit program planning and consolidation.
  • Perform process risk analysis, walkthroughs and mapping/flowcharting of key processes.
  • Identify areas of weaknesses or improvement opportunities, relevant risks and implications, and propose recommendations to improve controls.
  • Design test procedures and ensure proper documentation and communication of audit observations and work performed.
  • Lead and resolve all matters arising or associated with the execution of audit or investigation projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or professional certification in IT, Computer Science or Accountancy.
  • Candidate with additional professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, COBIT or ITIL would be advantageous.
  • 7 to 10 years of IT audit work experience covering a wide range of IT infrastructure, databases, operating systems, applications (SAP) and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Encase and SAP audit will be highly advantageous.

Vice President - Market Risk

JOB SUMMARY

  • Enhance our organizational capabilities in Market Risk Management for all business segments across commodity and foreign exchange exposures 
  • Provide independent market risk analysis to advise and guide senior management in its understanding, measurement and management of our trading and structural asset exposures. 
  • Enable a consistent understanding of our structural and trading exposure evolution and calibrate stakeholder’s understanding of sensitivity and vulnerability to relevant risk factors
  • Understand and articulate the impact of macro and micro economic factors on GAR’s commodity and foreign exchange portfolios and influence risk magnitude
  • Build processes and foster a culture that is biased towards lowering the chance of unexpected losses and that GAR’s business results fall within a range of expected outcomes.    
  • Communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and externally regarding our commercial strategy, exposure concentration and risk mitigation and management processes and systems.
  • Define material market risks in portfolio positions and the method for analyzing them
  • Work to gain consensus across the product lines and operating entities on measurement of market risk on GAR portfolio position
  • Assist with the evaluation of risk vs. return to support business managers in risk adjusted capital allocation decisions
  • Work closely with commercial business to understand and identify the full market risk embedded within the underlying business.  Develop strategy and models to quantify the impact of such market risks to GAR forward profitability.  Gain consensus across the company on strategies to lower GAR structural earnings volatility

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor degree in Risk Management, Quantitative Methods, Finance or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience in risk evaluation and management at a senior level
  • Possess sound knowledge industry is a must while in palm oil will be an added advantage

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Identify the most viable and sustainable business model for packed palm products into Pakistan
  • Conduct market study for import economices, competitor landscape, SWOT analysis, regulatory requirements, strategies and etc
  • Responsible for key activities to achieve the desired model and timeline
  • Prospect for potential new clients
  • Identify and develop our unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Responsible to build and maintain good relationships with customers and to meet the needs of customers
