GEODETIC - ENGINEER (Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include: 

• Liaison with job requested from customer and to manage & controlling data information from the field & data processing.
• Keep survey field & data processing using Minex-Ecs and KPC Survey’s standard.
• Plan and coordination with technician and assistance surveyor to contribute survey instruments. 
• To achieve best practice the essentials of instrument checks and competent use need to be performed according to approval standard.
• Supervise and maintain all survey instruments and accessories in good condition and should have backup, to substitution if any problem. 
• Develop and maintain/review all system and procedures survey practice. & process model survey regularly to ensure that the assistant surveyors are optimal.
• Co-ordinate and oversee KPC’s survey/drafting services to produce high quality plans, graphics and topographical models.
• To assist & prepare training schedules with senior surveyor for assistance surveyor’s skill upgrade and recommend the promotion of potential employees.
• Demonstrate and encourage the conformity to and implementation of HSE policies, rules and regulations.
• Identify, plan and execute improvement initiatives within the Section.

Qualifications: 

• Graduated from Geodetic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on surveying jobs particularly on mine survey.
• Extensive experience in GPS survey system (Processing GPS RTK, post processing Kinematics), Total Station instruments and level surveying.
• Good leadership, analytical, planning, scheduling, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) in both Bahasa Indonesia & English.
