Functional Position Description
- Position Title: 2S Sales Representative ( 80% Back office)
- Directly Reports to: Head of Customer Support
- Indirectly Reports to: AP – 2S Product Management

Position Purpose
- As part of our Heidelberg ‘SSU’ Systemservice Team, the 2S Sales Representative attends to the 2S Sales area and to the customers as directed by the Head of Customer Support.
- Plans and executes the 2S Sales activities in a professional and customer caring manner towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales, costs and margins.
- Builds and maintains excellent relationships with customers in the sales territory.
- Analysis CRM in order to define 2S Product Campaigns, Promotions and Sales opportunities.
- Manages 2S product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
- Communication and/or documentation are properly prepared and registered as well as the reporting status in the CRM tool.
- Drives Service Sales with a passion. Supports colleagues to ensure a strong and healthy team spirit within the total company.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and prioritizes sales activities and customer contacts towards achieving agreed business aims.
- Manages 2S product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
- Manages relevant reporting of management and financial information.
- Maintains and develops existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyzes customer business needs for 2S products and solutions in conjunction with Account Managers to identify appropriate and profitable business solutions.
- Supports marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrates sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g. product launches, campaigns, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Monitors and reports on market and competitor activities and provides relevant reports and information.
- Manage the achievement of individual sales targets.
- Taking responsibility to keep up to date the latest technology and new product/solution releases.
Position Requirements
Education:
- Vocational Education
Experience
- Hands-on technical experience with print-production equipment (Prepress/ Press/ Postpress) and/or supervisory job experience in the printing industry is preferred.
- Experience in a commercial sales environment, with particular exposure to the printing industry is advantageous.
- Solid experience working as part of a customer focused organization, with a strong emphasis on both internal and external customer service is advantageous.
- Experience in structuring and selling sales agreements as a part of a total solution or as an individual customer solution is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, liaising effectively both internally and externally and at all levels.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) with peers and senior management levels.
- Experience using and maintaining an effective customer database ensuring data integrity is updated weekly and accurately is advantageous.
- Language: English, both reading and listening, is essential

- Uses CRM tool to analyze and plan 2S product sales, campaigns, promotions; Monitors/ manages/ reports and updates relevant information held in the system.
- Responsible for ensuring that leads, won/lost orders are entered into CRM for SSU’s sales steering and marketing to be used for analysis and reporting purposes.
- In conjunction with SSU’s marketing, ensuring the customer details in CRM accurately reflect the state of the customers’ business in the market.
- Accurately identifies Customers’ requirements.
- Delivering professional sales presentations, proposals, (solution) quotations and contracts to existing and prospective customers.
- Selling commercially viable 2S products for identified customers.
- Supports service business development, formulation and implementation of business plans.
- Provides and distributes product information (product management function) and supports/takes part in product development.
- Responsible for participating and being an effective team member.
- Contribution to improved Employee Satisfaction results by demonstrating a consultative approach to people and alignment to Company values.
- Attends and presents at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions, as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
