Biotech Regulatory Specialist

Job Description

• Support Biotech Affairs & Regulatory Lead/Team to conduct biotech crop registration aligned with Indonesian Regulatory system
• Identify biosafety regulatory data requirements and work with Regulatory Science Operations to ensure all necessary studies are planned to provide data and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
• Provide regulatory support for Research and Development field testing activities as needed.
• Ensure the compilation of  regulatory data packages for product approval/registration that conform to appropriate government standards for biotechnology products in Indonesia
• Aggressively pursue applications, negotiate data requirements with regulators and respond promptly to technical questions to ensure timely and cost effective product approvals/registrations.
• Coordinate compliance with any post marketing product stewardship requirements (e.g., insect/weed resistance monitoring). Facilitate activities related to plant biotechnology with local commercial and research teams based on knowledge of current local regulatory resources, practices and establish relationships with government agencies.  Provide support to other regional teams as needed.
• Track plant biotechnology developments from regulatory and technological perspectives and update country management team as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Education background in Biology or Biotechnology is a must.  Master of Science degree is preferable.
• Understand on plant biotechnology and molecular biology.
• Experience of biotech regulatory systems or working experience in the research agency is an advantage.
• Fluent in English is a must (both verbal and written).
• Good organization and presentation skills .
• Good interpersonal communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and to meet deadlines.

Corporate Communication Manager-Indonesia

Job Description

• Lead the development and implementation of complex, integrated corporate communications strategies that contribute to business results and enhance company positioning and reputation;
• Incorporate knowledge of the business/function, audience, external dynamics and issues;
• Function in a strategic, advisory role to function, business, country on corporate affairs issues and communications challenges/opportunities;
• Develop and execute corporate communications plan for area of responsibility, using full communications mix.  Direct the implementation of key elements of the plan, managing resources such as budgets and external agencies as appropriate, and measure effectiveness;
• Direct the formulation of communication response to unanticipated events in short time frames, applying the principles and skills of media relations, social and digital communications, issues/crisis communications, public policy issues, internal communications and public relations.

Job Qualifications

• Five and above years in communications (public relations, journalism, branding, marketing communications, business consulting and advertising), with extensive communications knowledge in a broad range of techniques, processes, tools, resources and connections;
• Ability to work independently and well under pressure; Highly flexible; can manage multiple projects/issues simultaneously, and adapt to change at a fast pace, quick learner, and an ability to plan and perform detail work
• Strong team player; networker;
• Very good oral and written communications skills, often on short deadlines and in a variety of formats (e.g. talking points, speeches, news releases, positioning papers, presentations, social media feeds), in both English and local languages;
• Experiences in coaching and supporting corporate and business leaders in delivering corporate communications;
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes and the Internet applications.
• Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Public Affairs, Journalism, Communications;
• Strong experience in business and corporate communications, or relevant experience in a communications/PR/PA agency, government or trade association.

Job Description

• Develop new accounts for designated industries or market segment and to maintain existing accounts
• Set up and manage the necessary and appropriate distribution channel and develop new business partners for identified products
• Interact effectively with key stake holders to identify opportunities in targeted applications and segments.
• Responsible for understanding and forecasting demand and to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
• Collect information on competition from the market to develop and implement sales plan / account plan.
• Responsible to execute business programs at territory level and monitor progress

Job Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years sales experience for related products for Bachelor Degree and 1-2 years sales experience for MBA Degrees.
• Familiar with Oil & Gas and mining industries, Market Development experiences
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Industry background is a plus
• Good English language / communication / negotiations/ presentation skill  
• Familiar dealing with government contracts/tenders
• Ability to handle / connect with multi-level from senior leadership / management level / Project Leaders, Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Solution & Result oriented with good business acumen - ability to drive demand, hunger for sale and aggressive for market share
• Technical inclined, high self-development capability and motivated to become an expert in the field
